The 10 Forgotten Spring Cleaning Spots

Les 10 endroits oubliés du ménage de printemps

The Checklist to Print Before Declaring Victory

We wipe down counters. We vacuum. We wash the floors... Then we congratulate ourselves on our spring cleaning!

But often, dust, marks, and grime hide elsewhere. In places we look at every day... without really seeing them.

That's why we've prepared this list of the 10 most often forgotten areas. A few minutes are enough for each, but the effect on the freshness of your home is immediate.

Print this page, check the boxes, and rediscover your home in a new light.

□ 1. Window sills and sliding tracks

Dust, pollen, insects, and humidity discreetly accumulate here.

To do:

  • Vacuum debris
  • Brush corners and grooves
  • Wipe with a damp cloth

Result:
Brighter windows and smoother opening.

□ 2. Tops of kitchen cabinets

Out of sight... but rarely out of reach of grease and dust.

To do:

  • Wipe with a damp cloth
  • Remove sticky deposits (use black soap diluted in warm water for best results)
  • Check for forgotten decorative items

Result:
Fewer odors and less dust settling back into the kitchen.

□ 3. Light switches and door handles

Among the most touched surfaces in the house.

To do:

Result:
A house that instantly looks cleaner, but more importantly, eliminates the little families of bacteria that spent the winter there ;-)

□ 4. Baseboards

They follow every wall... but often disappear from our radar.

To do:

  • Vacuum accumulations
  • Wipe with a slightly damp cloth

Result:
Rooms appear tidier without major effort, and thanks to the power of black soap, it helps dust slide off, extending the time between cleanings!

□ 5. Behind the toilet

Probably the most avoided spot in the bathroom.

To do:

  • Clean the base
  • Wipe visible pipes
  • Check for accumulated splashes

Result:
A truly clean bathroom, not just superficially. And for our gentlemen who think they're the best at the "AIM FOR THE HOLE..." contest, you might be surprised by the effect of urine acid on the drywall surrounding the toilet bowl. OUCH!

□ 6. Light fixtures and lampshades

Dust gradually settles here, reducing brightness.

To do:

  • Dust lampshades
  • Wipe down hanging lights
  • Clean accessible globes

Result:
More light without changing a single bulb.

□ 7. Remote controls, keyboards, and electronic devices

They accompany us every day.

To do:

  • Remove dust
  • Disinfect surfaces
  • Clean keys and edges

Result:
Objects that are more pleasant to use daily, without food grease accumulated over several months.

□ 8. Refrigerator doors and seals

Crumbs and moisture love to hide here.

To do:

  • Clean the seals
  • Check the corners
  • Wipe handles

Result:
A cleaner and better-maintained appliance.

□ 9. Plants and their pots

Leaves also accumulate dust.

To do:

  • Wipe leaves and clean foliage with our Ready-to-Use. It has the power to make dust slide off, extend time between cleanings, and keep foliage greener. Plus, our black soap doesn't block photosynthesis; it even nourishes the foliage!
  • Clean pots
  • Remove dead leaves

Result:
More beautiful plants and a more vibrant interior.

□ 10. Under the kitchen sink

The kingdom of forgotten products.

To do:

  • Remove contents
  • Wipe surfaces
  • Check dates and duplicates
  • Reorganize the space

Result:
Less clutter and more efficiency in daily life.
