2015. Entry into the cleaning services industry Mariline creates Zeste Entretien Ménager, a company offering residential cleaning services. With strong leadership skills, she quickly has to manage a team of over 20 people and works, among other things, to surround herself with managers with strong human potential to support the rapid growth.
2019. Creative process for the product line From the very beginning of Zeste, it was crucial to produce natural and active products for our teams on the road. Although we worked with formulations available online, it was only after 2 months of operations, when a Zeste client asked us how they could obtain the products, that we began our creative process with a team of 2 chemists, 1 mentor chemist, and a formulator. This process took 4 years!
2022. Innovation of camelina black soap We began our experimental research by transferring raw materials for our flagship product, black soap. Initially made from olive oil, several derivatives of this product have emerged since its creation, notably with linseed oil or hemp oil. We were looking for an oil sourced from our local lands.
It was in February 2022 that we contacted Julie from Signé Caméline. Our tests finally began! Signé Caméline became our first collaboration aligned with our goal of sourcing raw materials locally, and it proved to be the beginning of a very beautiful and long relationship!
2022. Launch and creation of the laboratory With much uncertainty, challenges, and introspection, we made the big decision to become a manufacturer. We wanted to be in control of our production, evolve through constructive feedback, and take responsibility for all development related to our innovations. At this stage, it took us one year to find a suitable location, complete the leasehold improvements, and finally, begin production!
