"Wait... does it really do that?" Yes!
its main characteristics.
Description
Clay stone is a concentrated mineral paste that cleans, degreases, and polishes hard surfaces.
Its strength comes from clay—a naturally effective material for removing residue, grease, and limescale—combined with the glycerin in our black soap, which allows for cleaning without scratching.
Unlike liquid cleaners, it works mechanically: a light rub, and it does the job.
It leaves surfaces clean, smooth, and visibly shinier.
It's a versatile product used in both the kitchen and bathroom, on stainless steel, ceramic, ceramic hobs, and shower screens.
Simple. Mineral. Effective.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is black soap?
Traditionally used for centuries for cleaning, black soap is an ultra-effective multi-purpose cleaner. It degreases, cleans, shines, and easily replaces a ton of chemical products (which clutter your cupboards... and pollute your indoor air).
Whether for floors, countertops, windows, BBQs, garden tools, or even children's toys — our black soap is ready to shine.
👉 Curious to know more? We explain the entire history and uses of black soap in our blog.
Why isn't your black soap black?
because we produce it with a local resource: camelina.
Cultivated in Quebec for millennia, this discreet yellow flower hides treasures. Its oil follows the same molecular path as olive oil (the star of traditional black soap), but with superpowers of its own. The result: a local, effective, and proudly Quebecois black soap.
What types of surfaces can I clean with your products?
Pretty much everything: floors, countertops, windows, ceramic, stainless steel, toilets, BBQs... and even plants (with our ready-to-use garden version). Each product variation has its own specialties, but concentrated black soap remains your best ally for the home and beyond.
Where are your products manufactured?
Everything is brewed in our laboratory right in our store in Quebec. No factories on the other side of the world: it's local, made with passion.
Is it safe for children and animals?
Yes, our formulas are gentle, without toxic or irritating substances. Obviously, it's best to keep products out of reach, but there's no danger if the baby starts crawling on the freshly cleaned floor again.
